How to Generate a Statement of Account from BDO Online Banking

How to generate a Statement of Account from BDO Online Banking

A Statement of Account (SoA) is one of the documents most banks ask for when you apply for a home loan — it shows your savings or payroll account activity over recent months. Here's how to download yours from BDO Online Banking, what to check before you send it, and how Nook takes it from there so you never deal with the bank directly.

/ Before you start

What a BDO Statement of Account is — and why your loan needs it

A quick primer so you know exactly what you're downloading and why it matters.

A Statement of Account (SoA) is a record of the transactions on your BDO deposit account over a chosen period — typically your most recent three to six months. For a housing loan, the bank uses it to verify your income, see your regular inflows, and confirm you can comfortably service the monthly amortization. Along with proof of identity and proof of income, it's one of the standard documents in a Philippine home loan application.

The easiest way to get it is through BDO Online Banking on a computer, which produces a downloadable statement you can save and upload securely to Nook. Make sure your account is already enrolled for the Statement of Account feature before you begin — if it isn't, you can enrol anytime via the "click here" link inside online banking.

/ Before you send it

Quick checks, then hand it to Nook

Before you upload your SoA, give it a quick once-over so your application moves without delays:

  • The statement covers the full period your bank asked for — no missing months.
  • Your name and account details are clearly shown on the document.
  • It's a complete PDF (all pages), not a cropped screenshot.
  • The file opens cleanly and isn't password-protected, or you've noted the password to share.

That's it — once your SoA is ready, you simply upload it to Nook and we take over. Your dedicated Nook loan consultant fills in the bank application for you, prepares and submits your documents, and handles all the back-and-forth with BDO or whichever of our 20+ partner banks fits you best. You never queue at a branch, fill in a lender's form, or chase the bank yourself. And because the bank pays Nook a commission only once your loan is released, the whole service is 100% free to you. If you get stuck pulling your statement, chat to a Nook agent any day from 9:00am to 9:00pm and we'll walk you through it.
