The Loan Officer sits at the centre of that promise. You're the person who makes sure every home loan we submit is accurate, well-prepared and moving — the bridge between our loan consultants and our major banking partners, working to get loans approved and booked as fast as possible. It's a Work From Home role with real ownership, real impact, and a team that's genuinely on a mission.
What a Loan Officer does at Nook.
The principal goal of the role is to ensure home loans are processed and approved by banks as fast as possible.
Review applications
Review new home loan applications from our loan consultants and ensure their accuracy before they reach the bank.
Support the consultants
Provide a supporting role to loan consultants and answer their housing loan queries as a calm, knowledgeable Team Lead.
Be the bank interface
Act as the interface between Nook and its major banking partners to expedite loan approval times across the panel.
Day to day, you'll be:
Owning the relationship with our banking partners and keeping every loan moving toward approval.
- Acting as the main contact with our banking partners and ensuring positive relationships, including site visits to their offices.
- Liaising with banking partners on a daily basis to ensure fast loan approval and booking times.
- Reviewing loan applications prepared by loan consultants and submitting them to banking partners.
- Acting as a Team Lead and positively supporting loan consultants with loan questions.
- Tracking the progress of each loan in the IT system so average approval and average booking times keep improving.
- Liaising with our property developer partners and managing their home loan pipeline.
- Providing suggestions to improve team and company performance.
- Liaising with borrowers during the post-approval process.

- A calm, mature and positive demeanour, with the ability to positively lead a team.
- A minimum of two (2) years in a housing loan position.
- Proven ability to expedite home loans and achieve fast approval times.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organised — never lets tasks slip through the cracks and be forgotten.
- Willing to undergo thorough background and reference checks.
